ReThink Disposable Alameda Theatre and Cineplex

Alameda Cinema Grill is successfully implementing the following ReThink Disposable best practices:
  • Bulk condiment dispensers are used in place of individually wrapped packets for mustard, ketchup, cane sugar, Splenda, and honey
  • Three collection stations have also been placed in key locations outside of theatres for movie-goers to return the reusable items from their meals 
Their annual impacts (including the Cinema Grill's) are:
  • $9,881 in net savings
  • Eliminating 603,243 pieces of disposable packaging
  • Preventing 6,907 pounds of waste
